a. Cut the protective
grounding cable and
crimp the terminals.
b. Fix one terminal of the
grounding cable on the
grounding screw of the
ODU
c. Connect the other end of
the protective grounding
cable to the grounding
busbar of the metal
tower.

Grounding the IF Cable
a. If the antenna is installed on the metal tower , the IF cable should be grounded
at a point about 1-2m below the ODU ,and then be grounded at a point 1.5m
before the bent part where the cable is routed downwards along the tower .
b. If the IF cable is shorten than 20m, it must be grounded at the first two
grounding points
c. If the IF cable is longer than 20m but shorter than 60m,it must be grounded at
the three grounding points
d. If the IF cable is longer than 60m, an additional grounding point must be made
for every additional 20m IF cable.

place the guide pin on the hole
