Past two years have been challenging Since September 2007 banks have been vilified Trust of Irish and International audience had been lost And yet no one appeared to be talking to their customers !! We didn¶t want to be tarred with the same brush as the other banks... We had a good, truthful story to tell! And we wanted to tell it!

Our truth campaign
A traditional integrated marketing campaign...with a twist Provided us with an opportunity to take our brand to new communities Allowed us to re iterate integrity of RaboDirect.ie, start conversations and gauge opinion Staff members used to deliver brand and product messages Gave the brand an identity and a voice...a real bank with real people

People were struggling to believe what banks were telling them We took the opportunity to create a site where everyone was invited to come clean Truthbank.ie was launched and the flood gates opened with people posting truths on anything from money matters to matters of the heart Some heart-warming and others heart breaking ± but without question it gave testimony to how much people open up when they¶re in a social environment where they feel comfortable
