    AttendingLeadingEdgehassignificantlycontributedtomycharacterdevelopmentandhascontinuedtokeepmeon
    track.IthasimprovedthewayIactasastudentandhasmademeanindividualwhoknowstheconceptsof
    managingtime,stayingfocused,andnotbeingafraidtothinkorspeakformyself.Eventhoughtherewere
    challengesthatIfacedthroughouttheyears,IwasabletoovercomethemwiththehelpoftheLeadingEdge
    teachers.IfitwerenotforthemIwouldntbethekindofpersonIamshapedtobetodayduetotheircontinuous
    supportandcareforthestudentsundertheirwatch.LeadingEdgehastaughtmetogrowfrommymistakeswhich
    makesmeconfidentthatIcanattendhighschoolandcollegewiththeskillsacquired.

    DuringthesepastthreeyearsasastudentatLeadingEdge,Ihavecometoacknowledgethefivepillarsthathave
    beencontinuouslydrilledintomymind.InordertomoveontohighschoolIneededtoshowproofofmy
    understandingofthesepillarsandIbelieveIhavedoneso.AlloftheclassesIattendeverydaycontinuetoimprove
    myknowledgeonthefivepillars,ThinkingCritically,BuildingPartnership/Leadership,ThinkingGlobally,
    TechnologicalSavvy,andCulturalAwareness,withtheprojectsprovidedmakingmeanexpertontheimportanceof
    them.

    ThesepastyearsIhaveshownimmensegrowthandpositivecontributionasastudentandhavecometohavemany
    achievementsaswell.Ihavemybookcoverdesignonaceilingpanelbeingdisplayed,whichIworkedonwith
    supportivegroupmemberswhohelpedmecontinuetodemonstratetheBuildingPartnership/Leadershippillar.I
    havealsobeenonthetrackteamfortwoconsecutiveyears,winning1stplaceinthe800meterdashinsixthgrade.I
    wasalsoabletojoinMagazineClubinmyeighthgradeyear,whichletsmeshowoffthecreativesideofmeto
    peoplewhoviewthemagazinecreatedandhavereceivedhighhonorsthroughoutmy68thgradeyears.Thismeant
    Ihadtokeepa5.01GPAandabovetoqualifyforsuchanachievement.

    AsIamnearingtheendofmyeighthgradeyear,IwanttoberecognizedforalloftheskillsIhaveacquiredduring
    mytimehere.MyportfoliohasexceptionalworkthatdisplaysmyknowledgeandunderstandingoftheLeading
    Edgepillars.IfIwerenottohavechosenLeadingEdgeasmymiddleschoolexperience,Iwouldnthavehad
    nearlyasmanyachievementsandskillsacquiredasIwouldhavehere.IamtremendouslyconfidentthatLeading
    Edgehasmademepreparedforwhatliesaheadinmyfuture.
