Sierra Canyon Day Camp

Camp Counselor
> Monitors 20 children ages three to twelve daily for ten weeks
> Responsible for planning, leading, and implementing various actives for
counselors
> Accountable for general health, welfare, growth, and achievement of
campers
> Coordinates weekly games for campers depending on spirit
days/events at camp
> Participates in dress-up and spirit days in order to promote teamwork
> Communicates directly with parents regarding their children's behavior
and experiences weekly
> Organizes both all-camp and only-group activities, including arts and
crafts and songs
> Organized a camp-wide overnight themed, "Flashback Friday," which
required management of over 20 counselors and over 200 campers
overnight.
