Learning Image Basis using Sparse Coding: The problem was formulated a combination of two convex
optimization problems: an L1-regularized least squares and an L2-constrained least squares. Solved using CVX
- Mental State Detection using EEG: The present methods of detecting mental state from EEG were reviewed to
find out a simpler method to distinguish between relaxed and anxious mental state.
- Pulse-Oximeter: A pulse-oximeter was made from resources in local market; to monitor patient's hemoglobin
and heart rate. The interfacing and waveform analyzing was done in MATLAB.
- Automatic Rail Gate Controller: An automatic gate control of Railway level crossing barrier system was
developed using microcontroller unit, leds and sensors.
- Missile-Command Game: A game similar to Atari missile-command game was developed in C++.
