What do you want to learn about, be able to do,

or experience as a result of your preparation for
symposium?
Since I already researched the basics of forensic
science in my iSearch paper, now I will further my
research with perhaps picking a certain
subdivision (toxicology, ballistics, fingerprints,
DNA, pathology, crime scene investigation). By
the end, I want to be able to pick a subdivision
and be able to explicitly understand the process.

First I will research the basics of the subdivisions.

Then I will pick which one I would really like
research and maybe even do as a career. I will
compare and contrast the subdivisions and I will
list each ones pros and cons. After deciding
which subdivision I will delve into, I will then
hopefully get a contact or interview a professional
and ask them how they go about their work.

This research will build a foundation for my

senior project. I am leaning towards a
mentorship and so if thorough research is do
will be able to speak the language of forensic
science and I will be able to efficiently
collaborate with my mentor. Also, this is a bi
a test, if this is really what I want my senior
project to be about.
