Description of Proposed Activity:


Participation in the annual badminton interschool competition hosted by Abbotsleigh
School for Girls. The training regime consists of training sessions 2 days a week taking
place at school from 7 to 8:00 am. Participants in the competitive aspect offered are to
attend the weekly Saturday competitions located in a number of venues.

What challenges and/or new skills will this activity provide?
Learn new skills such as driving and smashing. Develop better synergy within my team
when playing doubles. Do more and take the responsibility of shot calling both in and out
of court.
What do you want to achieve from your participation in this activity?
Develop better badminton skills (as mentioned above) and ultimately win in our division
within the tournament.
What evidence could be appropriate for this activity?
Compilation of candid photographs taken during training and competitions along with
signatures from the coaches as evidence of my regular attendance in matches and
training sessions.
Which learning outcomes may be appropriate to reflect on for this activity? (NB You do not
have to meet every outcome for each activity. All seven must be achieved over the duration of the CAS
Program and before you are signed off)
