ANISE TARALLI..ANTHONY SPINELLI.

These taralli are made with eggs and they are


boiled before baking..Enjoy this recipe that
i make at easter time..
3--eggs.
3--cups all purpose flour..
1/4--cup sugar..
3--teaspoon baking powder..
1/4--cup corn oil or vegetable oil..
1/4--teaspoon salt..
1--tablespoon anise seed..
1--tablespoon anise extract...
Mix all dry ingredients then add all wet
ingredients..Mix in bowl with large spoon..
Then knead until smooth...Split into two
pieces and roll each piece into a log shape
that is one inch in diameter and 16 inches long..
Cut each log into one inch pieces and roll each
piece about 6 inches long and form circle with
each piece..Pinch ends to seal..Boil these in
water until they float..Remove from water with
a slotted spoon and drain on a towel..Place
on baking sheet lined with parchment paper
and bake at 350 degrees fahrenheit for at least
20 to 25 minutes...Check when done...
