RESOLUTION TO APPOINT IUSA HEALTH AND SAFETY DIRECTOR

1 WHEREAS, The IUSA Executive Branch requires Directors of various IUSA departments to fulfill the
2 needs of the student body; and,

4 WHEREAS, The IUSA Constitution requires that the IUSA President appoint Directors of departments,
5 subject to the approval of the IUSA Congress; and,
6
7 WHEREAS, The former IUSA Director for Health and Safety has resigned to focus on his academics;
8 and,
9
10 WHEREAS, Chris Bailey has served as an IUSA Intern in the Health and Safety Department and has
11 performed well; and,
12
13 WHEREAS, IUSA President Luke Fields has appointed Chris Bailey to be the new IUSA Health and
14 Safety Director,
15
16 THEREFORE LET IT BE RESOLVED, That the Student Body Congress approve Chris Bailey to
17 serve as the IUSA Director for Health and Safety for the remainder of this Executive term, unless he be
18 properly removed from office prior to the end of this Executive term.
