While working for Kiewit Building Group I accomplished a wide variety of manual tasks and decisions
on the job. I worked on a total of three different job sites located on the bases of Fort Belvoir and Fort
Meade. As stated above, I was a general laborer but I mainly executed a great deal of demolition inside
structure.
Through this unique job I absorbed the true sense of knowing what hard and backbreaking work is really
like. While it is not the most intricate job it is unique as in not many people experience this type of work.
Therefore, I believe I hold those unique teachings that not too many have.

My time at Bene was quite simple but rewarding at the same time. I acted as a table busser and
dishwasher when I was first administered the job. I was then promoted to cashier while completing all
food orders and assisting any customer.
Under these positions I learned a lot about time management, the value of a dollar, life skills, and the
essential pillars to finance. This was the perfect opportunity to also relate these monetary skills to my
future career field in accounting.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS

Over the more recent years of my life I have spent a lot of time volunteering at various organizations and
functions. I spent my high school years at a college preparatory school and the primary goal was to be
men for others. Therefore, throughout those four years I have been a grade school teacher assistant, a
volunteer at a retirement home, and a volunteer at a homeless shelter. Within the last year I have also
spent countless hours volunteering as a dog walker for Friends of Homeless Animals (FOHA).
I am also considered to be efficient with computers, software, and typing.
I have successfully taken two classes of Spanish so I have some understanding of sentence structure,
grammar, and verbal understanding.
