Reflection
(Minimum of 3-4 sentences per question)

1.

Briefly describe the field

experience. What did you
learn about technology
facilitation and leadership
from completing this field
experience?
As a technology leader, I was able to
determine what the needs of the teacher
was and decided to first help her set up a
Google Account then explained how to
use Google Drive. I learned that it is
necessary to have patience and be able to
determine the needs of a teacher and the
purpose
2.

How did this learning relate

to the knowledge (what must
you know), skills (what must
you be able to do) and
dispositions (attitudes,
beliefs, enthusiasm) required
of a technology facilitator or
technology leader? (Refer to
the standards you selected in
Part I. Use the language of
the PSC standards in your
answer and reflect on all 3
knowledge, skills, and

dispositions.)
Teacher leaders must know how to use
current programs and be able to assist
his or her peers. The skills are that you
must be able to use the program and
assist in set up and explanation of its
use. The disposition is that teacher
leaders must be willing to assist others
around them and to stay updated on new
technology and how to use those
programs or applications.
3. Describe how this field experience
impacted school improvement, faculty
development or student learning at
your school. How can the impact be
assessed?
This field experience impacted faculty
development in that one more person
was exposed to Google Drive. This tool
will be utilized county wide next year so
the earlier the better. This is why there
should be more staff development so that
next year more teachers will utilize this
tool.

As a technology teacher, I

Technology teacher leaders
must be aware of the

how to troubleshoot issues that
might occur. Skill wise,
teachers must have
troubleshooting skills to assist
others. Leaders must have a
willingness to assist others
with technology issues.

3.

Describe how this field

experience impacted school
improvement, faculty
development or student
learning at your school. How
can the impact be assessed?
If teachers are able to
troubleshoot his or her
technology then they will have
more confidence to assist
students with those issues. As
problems arise, teachers can
troubleshoot with students to
solve his or her own issues.
Less tech support requests
would be how it would be
assessed.

Reflection
(Minimum of 3-4 sentences per question)

1. Briefly describe the field

experience. What did you learn about
technology facilitation and leadership
from completing this field experience?
I learned how important it is to be
patient when trying to troubleshoot with
a co-worker. It is also important to have
the ability to troubleshoot. In this
instance the teacher was unable to
connect to WIFI. We had to disconnect
the phone plug in the phone and
reconnect. As a technology leader it is
important to be able to try multiple
things until the issue is resolved.
