Objectives
Aftersuccessfullycompletingthiscourse,participantswillbeableto:
Describetheinternationalenergysceneandtheissuesatstakeintheoilandgasindustryi.e.consumers,producers,mainactorsandprices
Describethemainprocessesandtechniquesofoilandgasexplorationandproductioni.e.geosciences,drillingandproductionanddescribetheircost
structureandtheirlegalframework
Describethemainoperationsinrefining,petrochemistryandgasprocessesandassessthediversityofproductsandtheinteractionsbetweenthosethree
industries
Describethespecificitiesofthemarketinganddistributionofoilandgasandtheirproducts.

Howitworks
Content
Everymondayatnoon,wewillpublishamodulecoveringaspecifictheme.Eachchapterisillustratedbyan8minutevideo.Undercertainvideosyou
willfindadditionalresourceswhichwillallowyoutolearnmoreabouttheconceptpresentedinthevideo.

Assessment&AchievementCertificate
Duringeachmodule,youwillbeassignedminigames,youmayattemptthemonetime.Afterthisfirsttrial,youcanretrywiththeminigamesbutthe
scorewillbenottakenintoaccount.Eachgameaccountsfor5%oftheMOOCsglobalgrade.
Attheendoftheweek,toreceivethebadgeofthemoduleyoumustscoreatleast50%ofthepointsofeachminigame.AttheendoftheMOOC,you
mustpassafinalquiztoobtainthecertificate.Thefinalevaluationquizaccountsfor20%oftheMOOCsglobalscore.
Inadditionyougain5%ofglobalgrade,ifyoucompletethedemographicsurveyatthebeginningoftheMOOCandtheendofcoursesurveyatthe
end.Attheend,yourtotalscorewillbebasedon100%.ToreceivetheAchievementCertificate,youmustearnatleast60%ofthefinalquizand60%
oftheMOOCglobalgrade(totalpointsavailableintheMOOC).Soevenifyoudidnotmanagetogetabadgeitisstillpossibleforyoutoreceivethe
certificate.
