Honorable Loretta Lynch
Attorney General of the United States
U.S. Department of the United States
950 Pennsylvania Ave, NW
Washington, DC 20530-0001
Dear Attomey General Lynch
‘This letter is concerning the request that was written by Tim Lueckenhoff. As you are aware,
‘Tim Lueckenhoff was President of the Association of Boxing Commissions (ABC), prior to the
ABC elections, held July 28, 2015 in San Diego at the annual conference.
‘Mr. Lueckenhoff sent a letter to the US Attorney General of the United States dated April 28,
2015. The copy that is in my possession is on ABC letterhead, implying that Mr. Lueckenhoff
appropriately had followed ABC By-Laws and procedures and had the Board of Directors
approval to write such a letter.
It is the current Board of Directors’ opinion, that Mr. Lueckenhoff violated several of the ABC
Bylaws which can be found at www.abcboxing.com, Specifically:
Section 1.4 Code of Ethies
Section 2.3 Member Conduct
Section 6.1 Committees
Section 3.4 QuorumMr. Lueckenhoff, as the presiding president of the ABC when the meeting began, could have
brought up the matter he raised in his 4/28/15 letter to the entire body at the 2015 Conference.
He did not mention the issue, in fact, did not disclose to the Body he had written the letter, nor
did he open the issue for discussion, nor have the full membership vote on any point of the letter.
‘The last sentence of the letter to the Honorable US Attomey General Loretta Lynch requesting
the AG's office “to investigate and take action. WE (emphasis added) ask that you do” it
appears, was made without authority.
‘There is no evidence a formal complaint was ever received from any party (boxer), there is no
evidence of any investigation by any ABC Committee, no Board Meeting minutes with those
officers discussing or voting on the issue, no other Board member signatures. not even an
indication that all Board members were “co”’ed on his letter. It is worth mentioning one of the
current Board members elected this past summer was serving as a Regional Director for the
‘ABC. This person wrote Mr. Lueckenhoff a formal request on May 8, 2015 asking him (1) who
specifically filed the complaint with the ABC (2) which Committee did the investigation into the
‘Complaint (3) who sits on that Committee (4) if those investigative notes are available, can you
forward them and (5) please provide me a copy of the letter. No response was ever given.
‘On Tuesday, July 28, 2015 an entirely new Board of Directors was elected by the full
membership. The new Board of Directors has discussed the letter Mr. Lueckenhoff wrote in
‘April, 2015, and voted unanimously, that based on best information provided, there is no cause
for action on the part of the Association of Boxing Commissions, and the matter is no longer
under consideration and will not be unless or until evidence can be provided this matter was
handled in a manner consistent with ABC By-laws.
Michael Mazzulli ‘\\
President
