1.
Constructivism is a psychological theory which brought a new horizon in the learningteaching field and opposed to Behaviorism and Cognitivism. Constructivist theory stated,
based in disciplines such as psychology, philosophy, science, and biology, that ``
knowledge is not a truth to be transmitted or discovered, but as emergent, developmental,
nonobjective viable constructed explanations by humans engaged in meaning-making in
cultural and social communities of discourse.`` (Fosnot, 2004). Vygotsky based on the
social construction of the knowledge. Teaching would be the result of the approach of
constructivism in learning. According to Vygotsky adults are an important source of
cognitive development. Adults transmit their culture's tools of intellectual adaptation
that children internalize.
In my point of view, this theory is very guessed right since the majority of the learning is
given across the practice; Vygotsky tries to penetrate into the educational practices royal
real moments in order that one gives a real learning promoting the creativity of the student
and to establish rational and significant relations with the world. Nowadays I do not work
as a teacher, but I would like to include in my pedagogical practices some ideas that this
author offers for the teachers who are interested in changing the traditional methodology.
Activities: At restaurant (interaction with others)
The teacher plans the activity in a nearby restaurant where the learners will learn to ask for
the order, to ask for specific dishes; likewise the students will take the role of waiter to
offer the letter.
Waiter: May I take your order?
Customer: Yes, please Ill have the spicy fish and rice.
Waiter: Ok, what kind of dressing would you like?
We have blue cheese and vinaigrette
Customer: Blue cheese, please
Waiter: and would you like anything to drink

Customer: No, thanks that will be all.

2. Projects methods
The teacher plans academic projects where the students stimulate: to know, know-how and
be; it is to say to take to the practice what they have learned.
Activities: Just go in and mingle with the natives.
The teacher will schedule a meeting with native persons in order that the students interact
with them by means of a direct method.
