RIGHT OF THE SCREEN)
SCENE 1 FADES IN
INT - THE IMMUNE RESPONSES BASE - DAY
NARRATOR
In todays adventure we are joining
the immune response to find out how
they fight off those pesky new
infections.

The T and B cells are sitting in the conference area within

the base, they are conversing amongst each other.
CUT TO: MID SHOT OF
MACROPHAGE SWIMMING
ALONG EATING NORMAL
GERMS
(CALLOUT APPEARS SAYING "NOM" WHEN A GERM IS EATEN)
NARRATOR
The Macrophage. This cells job is
to eat germs and bacteria.

THE CAMERA THEN CUTS

TO A CLOSE UP OF ONE
OF THE FACES OF THE
BACTERIUM
CUT TO CLOSE UP OF
MACROPHAGE'S FACE
A flood of INFECTION launches round the corner of the blood
vessel toward the path of the MACROPHAGE.
THE CAMERA QUICKLY
SNAPS TO TO A MID
SHOT OF THE
APPROACHING

INFECTION
The MACROPHAGE turns and alerts the patrolling Killer T cell
who then dashes ahead to see the BACTERIA up close
CAMERA FREEZES ON
THE KILLER T CELL
NARRATOR
Ah, the Killer T Cell. Our
destroyer of infected cells.
Without him our immune system would
not be able to fight with the
ferocity it is capable of.

(SPEECH BUBBLE APPEARS)

MACROPHAGE
Quickly Killer T, we've never seen
these guys before!
KILLER T CELL
Okay! I'll go get a better look!
MACROPHAGE
Okay. I'll stay and try to eat some
invaders
CUT TO: MID SHOT OF
KILLER T CELLS
HOVERING OVER A
FLOOD OF INFECTION
(SPEECH BUBBLE APPEARS)
KILLER T CELL
There's so many of them! But i
can't see them properly...
Afterwards the Killer T Cell zooms downwards and through an
eastily blood vessel to get back to the base to warn the
other cells.
CUT TO: MID SHOT OF
KILLER T CELL
BARGING THROUGH THE
DOOR
(SPEECH BUBBLE APPEARS)

KILLER T CELL
You're needed right away! There is
a unknown infection trying to take
over!

CAMERA PANS ROUND TO

THE B CELL
B CELL
Have any antibodies been launched
yet?!
KILLER T CELL
NO! Thats why we need you B!
CAMERA FREEZES ON B
CELL
NARRATOR
The B Cell. Our antibody factory,
we need the B Cell to generate
antibodies to stop the bacteria.

CUT TO: OVER THE

SHOULDER VIEW OF
CELLS WALKING
THROUGH THE DOOR TO
SEE THE MACROPHAGE
FLEEING FROM THE
INFECTION
(SPEECH BUBBLE APPEARS)

B, it's time to transform!
CAMERA SPINS TO SHOW
A MID SHOT OF B CELL
B CELL
I'M ON IT!
The B CELL steps up and begins transforming. After
transforming the B cell will become a plasma cell
CUT TO: BODY SHOT OF
B CELL HARNESSING

POWER
(HE WORD 'GRRRRRRRR' APPEARS OUT OF THE B CELL AS IT
HARNESSES POWER)
The number of floating ANTIBODIES start to increase around
the body of the B CELL
CUT TO: EXTREME
CLOSE UP OF B CELLS
EYES TO CAPTURE
EXPRESSION
CAMERA ZOOMS OUT TO
SHOW THE ANTIBODIES
LAUNCH OUTWARDS
(AS THE ANTIBODIES FLY OUT A CALLOUT APPEARS SAYING WHOOSH)
The ANTIBODIES group together and propel towards the
bacteria, Some of them get destroyed in the process of
trying to latch on. Some suceed in stopping some virus
cells.
CAMERA GOES TO A
HIGH UP SHOT THAT
SHOWS ANTIBODIES
LATCHING ONTO
BACTERIA AND
IMPEDING IT
NARRATOR
When that evil bacteria is covered
with antibodies, the Macrophage
will eat it right up.
CUT TO: MID SHOT OF
ANTIBODY COVERED
BACTERIUM BEING
CONSUMED BY
MACROPHAGE.
CUT TO BLACK

NARRATOR
When the Macrophage eats this
bacteria it can do something really

CAMERA FADES IN TO A
MID SHOT OF THE
MACROPHAGE CHEWING
THE BACTERIA
NARRATOR
It will push the eaten bacteria out
onto its back as antigens.
Antibodies just love these bits.
The MACROPHAGE then clenches and squeezes out the antigens
of the bacteria.
(AS MACROPHAGE CLENCHES 'GRRRRRR' APPEARS AS A WORD COMING
OUT OF IT'S MOUTH)
(WHEN THE ANTIGENS BREAK THROUGH A CALLOUT APPEARS SAYING
POP!)
CUT TO: CLOSE-UP OF
SPIKY SHAPED
ANTIGENS BREAKING
THROUGH THE
MACROPHAGE
CUT TO: MID SHOT OF
THE ANTIBODIES
SWIMMNG
The ANTIBODIES notice that the macrophage is now presenting
bright red spikes, they rush straight to the uncovered
antigens and latch on top of them.

SWIMMING WITH THE
HELPER T CELL WITH
THE B CELL FLOATING
BEHIND
(SPEECH BUBBLES APPEAR)

We've got to get to the MACROPHAGE
its eaten some invaders

The B CELLS, HELPER AND KILLER T CELLS all rush to the

location of the MACROPHAGE to discover what the antigens of

the bacteria look like
CAMERA CUTS TO A MID
SHOT OF ALL THE
CELLS TOGETHER
The KILLER T CELL takes note of what these antigens look
like and leads the rest of the cells to where they are
located
(SPEECH BUBBLES APPEAR FOR SPEAKING CHARACTERS)

We've got to look for bacteria with
any spikes or curved shapes
ALL CELLS
LETS GO!
CUT TO: LOCKED DOWN
SHOT OF ALL CELLS
FLYING OUT OF
ENTRANCE OF BLOOD
VESSELS
THE CURRENT CELLS GO AND GATHER MORE T CELLS AND MACROPHAGES
TO PREPARE FOR THE BATTLE
Each T CELL, B CELL and Macropahge float side by side. He
uses his extended vision to focus in on one of the bacterium
to see if it has the same antigens as the one the MACROPHAGE
presented.

I'll take a closer look at the
bacteria!

To make sure we get the right
bacteria of course.

TO REVEAL IT HAS THE

MATCHING ANTIGENS
CAMERA THEN ZOOMS
OUT AND SEES THE
FACE OF THE
BACTERIUM

It's them! Let's get them! Is
everyone ready?
KILLER T CELL AND B CELL
LETS DO THIS!
NARRATOR
...And this is where the battle
begins...

SCENE 3:
INT. LARGE BLOOD VESSEL/VEIN - DAY
NARRATOR
First up is the Plasma Cell. He
must charge up again to make more
antibodies to stop the bacteria in
its tracks.
The T and plasma cells and Macrophages start to prepare for
battle,
CUT TO: BODY SHOT OF
THE PLASMA CELL
CHARGING UP BY
MAKING ANTIBODIES
(AS PLASMA CELL CHARGES 'GRRRRRR' APPEARS)
CUT TO: MID SHOT OF
ANTIBODIES FLYING
FROM THE PLASMA CELL
(WHOOSHING EXCLAMTION APPEARS AS THE ANTIBODIES FLY FROM THE
PLASMA CELL)
CAMERA THEN SNAPS TO
THE BACTERIA BEING
SWARMED WITH
ANTIBODIES

(WHOOSHING APPEARS LARGER THIS TIME)

CUT TO: TRACKING
SHOT OF KILLER T
CELL DARTING IN
DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS
AND ZAPPING BACTERIA
(SPEECH BUBBLE APPEARS)

KILLER T CELL
Take that! And that! And that!
(A SERIES OF CALLOUTS SAYING 'POW' 'THWACK' AND 'ZAP' APPEAR
AS THE KILLER T IS FIGHTING)
After the KILLER T CELL has destroyed all of the invading
BACTERIA it returns back to the team of immunity CELLS
CAMERA IS AT A LOW
ANGLE MID SHOT OF

RETURNING NEXT TO
HELPER T CELL
(SPEECH BUBBLE APPEARS)

There we go! All gone!

Once this battle is done the B cells that didn't turn into
Plasma Cells turn into Memory B Cells

A SHOT WITH THE
PLASMA CELL AND TWO
T CELLS SWIMMING
TOWARDS THE CAMERA

SCENE 4
INT. THE IMMUNE BASE - DAY
NARRATOR
After a hard days work the cells
return home to find a new
Macrophage working.
The CELLS arrive back at base to find that another
MACROPHAGE has been patrolling whilst they have been gone
CAMERA GOES INTO A
CLOSE UP OF THE FACE
OF THE NEW
MACROPHAGE
CAMERA SHOWS
MACROPHAGE EATING
NORMAL GERMS
('NOM' CALLOUTS APPEAR)
The MACROPHAGE notices something and becomes confused
CUT TO: MID SHOT OF
BLOOD VESSELS ONLY
THE SOUND OF
SOMETHING
APPROACHING CAN BE
HEARD
CAMERA THEN CHANGES
TO CLOSE UP OF
MACROPHAGE LOOKING
FEARFUL
A new BACTERIA has invaded and with that presenting a new
villain.
CUT TO: CLOSE-UP OF
A NEW BACTERIUMS
FACE THEN ZOOM OUT
TO SEE OTHER NEW
BACTERIUM
The T and B CELLS jump into action to repeat the cycle

The 3 IMMUNE CELLS fly towards the screen to fight the new
