things up and transition with their bookbags, coats, lunch boxes to
their afternoon classes.
All: Students need to transition from class to class with their

Prep for EOY trip

meeting

Nonearners will be the only students dismissed at this time. All other
students will remain in the TS room with teachers.
Tucker-Hunt and Steffen will own the Pride and monitor focus.
o Please find an appropriate time to frontload to the Pride about
staying seated with their families during the meeting and
being at zero.
Burdge will call names from the hallway and Cheek and Cosentino will
alternate walking busses.
o You all will monitor the Pride until busses get called.
Johnson will text when to send groups of students to the bathrooms.
We will have to play this by ear and coordinate based on dismissal
traffic in the hallway.
Ops is owning getting the caf set up for the meeting. Johnson may
be in caf helping with set up or floating in hallway.
Graves: Stay outside and help direct 4th families into the lobby to
sign in
Bledsoe and Cheek: Once you are finished walking busses, please
head to the sign-in station in the lobby. There will also be a walkie at
the sign-in station.
o For the sign in station:
Parents should sign in next to kids name
You should give them a copy of the itinerary and
packing list (will be 1 copy front and back)
A medical form/permission slip

Johnson will bring a walkie to Steffen and Tucker-Hunt.

o When kids leave and are dismissed, they need to bring
everything with them.
As parents come and we dismiss kids, we will play it by ear when to
get teachers to come to the caf and float/greet/interact with parents
We will text and be in communication with who will stay and own
these kids, but all kids that parents have not shown up need to be
brought to caf with all of their stuff
Johnson will assign a teacher to sit with them and own them until
their parent arrives
Mindsets/details:
Interact with families
Make families feel at ease and comfortable
o Show confidence that the trip will run smoothly and their
kiddos will be fine
Dont answer a question if you dont know the answer
While meeting is happening, spread yourselves out and just be a
presence
At the end of the meeting, help collect forms from parents
and answer questions
You should expect to stay until after 6, or until the last parent has left
and the caf is organized and set up for the next day
I will tell you/send a text when it is okay to leave
