The District Attorney of the County of Nevada hereby accuses the defendant of:
COUNT I

On or about March 20, 2016, in the County of Nevada, the crime of MURDER, in violation of

Penal Code section 187(a), a felony, was committed by Jason Carl Schuller, who did

20

unlawfully, and with malice aforethought murder W.T, a human being.

NOTICE: The above offense is a serious felony within the meaning of Penal Code section
1192.7(c) and a violent felony within the meaning of Penal Code section 667.5(c).

As to Count(s) 1, it is further alleged that Jason Carl Schuller, in the commission of a

violation of Penal Code section 187, personally and intentionally discharged a firearm and
proximately caused great bodily injury, as defined in section 12022.7, or death, to any person
other than an accomplice, to wit, W.T, in violation of Penal Code section 12022.53(d).

COUNT II

On or about March 20, 2016, in the County of Nevada, the crime of EVADING AN OFFICER,

WILLFUL DISREGARD, in violation of Vehicle Code section 2800.2(a), a felony, was

committed by Jason Carl Schuller, who did willfully and unlawfully, while operating a motor

vehicle and with the intent to evade, flee and otherwise attempt to elude a pursuing peace
officer's motor vehicle while all of the following conditions existed: the peace officer's motor
vehicle exhibited at least one lighted red lamp visible from the front and Jason Carl Schuller
saw and reasonably should have seen the lamp, the peace officer's motor vehicle was

sounding its siren as was reasonably necessary, the peace officer's motor vehicle was

distinctively marked, the peace officer's motor vehicle was operated by a peace officer.

It is further alleged that Jason Carl Schuller drove with a willful wanton disregard for the

16

safety of persons and property.

Case Synopsis:
DF shoots vic at least 13 times and kills him. Multiple shots
to face. Then lights body on fire (autopsy pending).
Neighbor hears shots and calls 911, and puts fire out with
extinguisher. DF flees in vehicle. Hi speed chase with
multiple LE agencies ends in Sacto after spike strips
deployed. Neighbor has video surveillance system. DF UTI
when contacted. Blood pending.
