trainer.

Career Cruising
While using career cruising I learned that I should definitely go into a
career that ensures that I am constantly moving and on my feet since I
am a kinesthetic learner. Some careers that matched up with me are:
1. Massage therapist
2. Agent
3. Fitness instructor
4. Athletic therapist
5. Kinesiologist

These are good career options for me because they express my love for
fitness and sports and ensure that I am active and moving in my job.

Kiersey Temprement Quiz

Guardians (SJ's) are the cornerstone of society, for they are the temperament given
to serving and preserving our most important social institutions. Guardians have
natural talent in managing goods and services--from supervision to maintenance and
supply -- and they use all their skills to keep things running smoothly in their
families, communities, schools, churches, hospitals, and businesses.
Guardians can have a lot of fun with their friends, but they are quite serious about
their duties and responsibilities. Guardians take pride in being dependable and
trustworthy; if there's a job to be done, they can be counted on to put their shoulder
to the wheel. Guardians also believe in law and order, and sometimes worry that
respect for authority, even a fundamental sense of right and wrong, is being lost.
Perhaps this is why Guardians honor customs and traditions so strongly -- they are
familiar patterns that help bring stability to our modern, fast-paced world.
Practical and down-to-earth, Guardians believe in following the rules and cooperating
with others. They are not very comfortable winging it or blazing new trails; working
steadily within the system is the Guardian way, for in the long run loyalty, discipline,
and teamwork get the job done right. Guardians are meticulous about schedules and
have a sharp eye for proper procedures. They are cautious about change, even
though they know that change can be healthy for an institution. Better to go slowly,
they say, and look before you leap.
Guardians make up as much as 40 to 45 percent of the population, and a good thing,
because they usually end up doing all the indispensable but thankless jobs everyone
else takes for granted.
You are most comfortable when your life is structured. As a result you usually prefer
a workplace that lets you create a routine you can settle into. Because you are
dependable and exacting, your colleagues and customers rely on your work. Your
ideal job offers you a clear chain of command, and lets you progress through a
hierarchy based on your meeting expectations.

Values at Work

Values at Work
Leisure: having adequate time away from work. This is
important because you don't want to become that
person that is only absorbed into their work rather than
whats important in life.
Recognition: receiving credit for achievements. This is
important to me because it motivates me to keep
working hard. Recognition shows that you are
successful.
Autonomy: receiving little or no supervision. This is
important to me because it irritates me when I am
constantly being checked up on. I'm very capable to
work on my own.

Safety at Work

Safety at Work
All accidents or injuries must immediately be reported to a supervisor. Even
minor injuries must be dealt with in this manner, and First Aid will be
provided.
When working near or operating machinery, don't wear jewelry or loosefitting clothing. It may get caught in the mechanism, causing injury.
Make sure that aisles and walkways are kept clear at all times. The same rule
applies to exits and fire doors.
Clean up any spilled liquids immediately, since a wet floor can cause slip-andfall injuries.
Consuming or using alcohol or illegal drugs in the workplace is prohibited.
Employees will not be allowed to work or to continue their shift if their ability
to work is impaired.
Employees should report hazardous workplace conditions to a supervisor
immediately.
No horseplay while on the job.

Goals

Short-Term Goals
1. Get A Job- My first short term goal is something very
necessary. I need to start building my resume and making
money. Currently, I am trying to apply at booster juice.
2. Workout More- I chose this because I believe that it's so
important to become fit, and without fitness this
semester, I dont feel as energized anymore. To achieve
this goal, I will create a workout schedule.
3. Eat Healthier- I think that I eat fairly healthy for
someone y age, although my diet could definitely be
improved. I will start planning my meals in advance and
cut down on processed foods.

Long-Term Goals
1. Achieve A Scholarship- It is important for me that I achieve
a scholarship. It helps greatly in saving money. To achieve a
scholarship, I will continue to be successful in volleyball and
work harder to become the best that I can be. I will also to
make sure to get higher grades
2. Travel More- I believe that you learn more from life
experiences than in a classroom. It's important for me to travel
and learn new things through new experiences. To do this, I will
plan trips with friends and family.
3. Buy My Own Car- One of my goals I've had for a while is to
save up enough money to buy a car. To buy one, you need a lot
of money. I will get a job and save my money.

What is
Important?

Accomplishments
1. Honor roll- I have been on the honor roll every
year/semester since theyve given them out. I am proud
of this because it shows that I am hard-working
2. Volunteer work- I have done a lot of volunteer work
through the town of Aurora, Marquee theatrical
productions, and special Olympics Canada. I currently
have 120 hours of community service and am striving to
achieve more. I am proud of this because I am benefiting
my community in a positive way.
3. Volleyball- Through my volleyball career, I have learned
new things and achieved new skills. This year I am excited
to say that I landed a spot on a team that has won
provincials 3 years in a row. I have won many medals from
winning tournaments and MVP at a school tournament.

Accomplishments (Contd.)
4. Joined SGI (Students for Global Issues)- The SGI
club at Aurora High is something that I am very proud to
be a part of. We raise money for many different charities
in hopes of making a positive impact on this earth. Our
next activity is volunteering at homeless shelters in
Toronto.
5. Checked Off Goals on Bucket List- My friend & I
decided to make a bucket list together. This past year we
managed to complete most of it which is fantastic. Some
activities included running a full 5k, do the color run, and
go on a Toronto date together.

Important Values
1. Accountability- The first value is one that is truly important for
everything in life. You have to be able to be counted on and be
reliable in jobs, family, and especially relationships. This value also
goes along with the next one.
2. Balance- This value is difficult but a necessity. You need to find a
balance in everything in life. This coincides with accountability
because if your life is unbalanced, you cant be counted on. You
need to learn how to balance things such as jobs, sports, social life,
and others.
3. Encouraging- This is important because it brings up the moral of
others and they will want to encourage you too. It also gives you
the amazing feeling of satisfaction when you help people achieve
their goals. Its important to not discourage others.

Hobbies and
Careers

Interests & Hobbies

1. Sports (Volleyball) - sports therapist, volleyball
club owner, professional athlete
2. Makeup- makeup artist/consultant, beauty
advisor, dermatologist
3. Photography- photography, graphic designer,
photojournalist

Hobby I Want to Learn

One hobby that I would like to learn is drawing. I
do not have very good art skills at all and have
always been jealous of people with that talent. It
is a good hobby to get into because it teaches you
precision, creativity, and patience. Those skills are
key to most careers. For all of the jobs in the
previous slide, you need at least one of these
skills to become successful.

Motivation

Community Service (Skills

& Abilities)
Everyone acquires skills and abilities when they are
introduced to new learning experiences. Through
my experience of achieving my community service
hours, I learned patience, responsibility and time
management by becoming a counsellor in training.
Although I did learn these skills and abilities, I
would like to learn more leadership skills. As a CIT,
you dont get much control over ideas and
activities. To achieve more community service
hours, I think I will choose something that will help
me become a great leader.

Motivation
al Quote
I chose this quote because
it just goes to show that
everything will have a
good or bad outcome. You
have to work hard and be
able to handle the worst
of situations to make them
better. This quote tells me
that no matter what I am
going through, the
pressure can change me
into a great person. You
just have to motivate
yourself.
