Fire Alarm in Bucharest

An Engineer from Bucharest was attending an extraordinary staff

meeting in a windowless office in Bucharest where most of Romanian
office people were invited to listen to a big boss from Munich. Every
managers from local to general manager were trying to impress the
bigboss from always smiling & nodding, even do something they never
do like taking notes with the tablet. Until suddenly the meeting room
gone dark & the fire alarm sounded. Everyone stayed sitting & the
bigboss went silent. The local bosses were silent too. Until someone
from the audience shouted to evacuate immediately and all people
rushed together in hurry. Finally it became clear that a fire had started
& already handled.
Usually they have no problem giving orders or telling us how to do
things. This time, however, they were quiet and indecisive. Could it be
that the presence of the higher-ranking boss from Munich had an
impact on their behavior?
