PIIE BRINGS HOME THE BACON AT THE ANNUAL BELEN-MAKING

AND AVP CONTEST

December 2014 the Student Council Organization held two events in relation to
celebrating the Christmas season at the PUP-SRC. The first one was the Belen-Making
Contest in which all the participating organizations were tasked to capture the nativity of
our Savior with just the use of recycled materials.

Created with teamwork, creativity, and passion, the PIIE Belen entry did not fail to
amaze the crowd and the judges and at the awarding ceremony, the entry won the 2 nd
place.

An Audio-Visual Presentation Contest was also held. With the collaborative efforts
of the PIIE members and the whole organization, the PIIE AVP entry was a success. With
the music originally composed by Mr. Jonel Medina, and the contribution of the talented
members from BSIE 4-1, as well as the participation of the Ang Bahay Parola ministry,
the entry stole the 2nd place and won the hearts of the crowd with its heart-warming
theme.
