Main responsibilities include producing digital marketing materials to be distributed


online, such as videos, newsletters, photography campaigns, and interactive media. I
also manage our social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube)
as well as our website.
Managed our most successful social media campaign to date, with more interactions
than 95% of our previous content.
Arranged events, bringing speakers from across the UK by liaising with the university
to secure venues, additional marketing and funding.

Local Group Leader
Started up a new local grassroots branch group of this international NGO, which
puts pressure on the governments of wealthy nations to show their commitment to
fighting global poverty
Recruited new volunteers through social media, mailing lists, and advertising around
town
Arranged events such as webinars and livestreams of the UN's Sustainable
Development Summit to raise awareness of international development issues
Liaised with local MPs and MSPs to advocate for the importance of foreign aid at
events such as film screenings and hustings

Noticing that the organisation's social media presence was lacking, I took the
initiative to create a new social media promotion strategy. I created our Facebook

I am also the main editor for our internal magazine, selecting and preparing
materials for each issue (print and online) together with my editing team
