I began, using my contact information to create an accent to the logo. The text
forms an arrow-shape which leads the eye to the right, and so is comfortable in
its appearance. The wave graphic from the business card I inserted near the base
of the page, giving it a low opacity of 30%, so as not to distract the eye, but
at the same time keep the page interesting and unique.

Learn to create a visually appealing brochure using text-wrap and print the
brochure in high-resolution.
Process:
I set up the canvas in InDesign for a double sided brochure. I used my own camera
and tripod to take a picture of me holding a can of paint and a paint brush and
also without. I did this by setting the timer on the camera and having a friend
place the objects in my hands without me moving. I ended up having to retake this
picture a number of times in order to get the desired lighting.
I cut out the photos background in photoshop and placed the images in InDesign,
where I began to organize my project. The logo, I made in Photoshop, as well,
using a contact lens with a red color filter and fonts I found online.
The paragraph stlye, I created using the paragraph style tool, which helped in
organizing the body text. I also used the text wrap tool to get the text to doge
the arms on the front page. In the end I had to print the image more than twenty
times in order to get the arms to match up perfectly, through trail and error.
Im satisfied with the finished product and believe it was well worth the struggle.

Objectives:
Learn to create a visually appealing Website using html along-side css code.
Process:
I created this webpage using a program called Text Wrangler. I edited and
customized the html to create this site, using a basic framework, to which I
added my graphics, text, images, etc.
The background image is a photo I took, which I edited in Photoshop to complement
the graphic, which I created using mainly Illustrator and InDesign.
The dropdown menu, when one hovers over the second image, was created using css,
as well as other styles such as fonts, colors, and placement.

Process:
I began with an image I took a couple months ago of the Catalina island, and used
Photoshop to add greater clarity and contrast to the image.
I then, took a photo of my model looking into the light for a hopeful affect.
I placed the second image into the first on Photoshop and, using a layer mask,
painted off parts of the image at varying opacities.
To finish, I added text at two different opacities and fonts for contrast.

Adobe Photoshop
Objectives:
Create an image that entertains the importance of visual flow while providing
useful information.
Process:
I started by using drafting a number of times on paper what I had in mind, then
moved to Photoshop to remove the persons from their background and edit the image
quality slightly. I then brought the image to InDesign where I pieced all aspects
together, being wary of white space and avoiding clutter, and added a light bulb
graphic as a finishing touch.
