It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation

for Chelsea Vang. As a current
senior at Sanger High School, Chelsea has dedicated and committed herself toward academic
excellence. Chelsea has proved that she is willing to take the most rigourous courses offered at our
high school. Chelsea's overall grade point average stands at 4.16. It is without a doubt she is the top
of the current senior class. I am proud of Chelsea's academic accomplishment as she has always
seeks to take the most challenging courses offered her at Sanger High School. She has successfully
pass the following courses with letter grade of an "A AP European History, AP Biology, AP English
Language, Honors English 9, Honors World Literature, Honors Algebra 2, Honors Biology to name a
few. As Chelsea's counselor, I am proud to know that one of her most admirable characteristics is
her determination
and perseverance in strivingJor academic excellence while involving herself in
extra-curricular
activities. Chelsea is a well-rounded and model student at Sanger High School.

Chelsea is strongly motivated to pursue a career medical field to become an Obstetrician Gnecologist
(OBGYN). I have become aware that she is highly passionate in providing a public service to her
community in multiple facets. Chelsea has volunteered at Valley Children's Hospital by assisting ill
children with arts and crafts as well as directing families find appropriate departments.
Chelsea also
has made time to volunteer in child care facility in helping supervise and tutor. It is for this reason
that I am confident that Chelsea will succeed in the next level of higher learning because her
determination
and exemplary qualities such as: a hard work ethic, ambition, responsibility, and
commitment to herself will propel her to achieve her educational goals. I am proud to note that
Chelsea represents our high school with honors and integrity; this year she received a prestigious
award in our BLOCK S - ceremony. This ceremony acknowledges students who have achieved a
grade point average of 4.0 or higher in the previous academic year. This will be Chelsea 3rd year in a
row receiving this recognition for achieving academic excellence.
I will like to also acknowledge that Chelsea has participated in our extra-curricular
activities
contributing to a positive school climate. She has been a member of our: Asian Club, Apache Closet
and California Federation Scholarship. Through these clubs and organizations Chelsea has been able
to build her leadership capacity while also helping others with a caring and respectful attitude. As a
resourceful high school and future college student Chelsea posses the skills to become successful in
her educational endeavors. Overall, Chelsea has the determination and leadership ability to
persevere in challenging situations and I highly recommend her for her achievements.
