o Stop and go over the word converse (discuss), terms (word),
cultural heritage (everyone has it)
Students know that we read this aloud together and that we will
dissect the target as we go
Tell students, Today we are going to be using our online dictionaries to look
up the definitions of our new terms that I am about to give you and putting
them in our social studies notebooks. Remember it is important for us to keep
a running record of any new vocabulary words so that we can look up again
for later use.
Students will be given two yellow pieces of paper each and told to
fold them hamburger style
They will be asked to put one piece inside the other and then cut them
in the middle but dont fully split them in half
Then do it again to each half to make fourths
