To Whom It May Concern:

It would be extremely difficult to overstate the meaningful contributions that Daima
Mbele has made to the Linc, its staff, students and parents. Since the Linc opened its doors
two years ago, Ms. Mbeles hard work, initiative and dedication have been evident. She has
made profound contributions both in and out of her role as School Counselor. I was not
surprised to learn that Ms. Mbele completed her Masters Degree in Education and
Administration and had passed her Principal Certification Exam in January 2015. It was
obvious that she had the knowledge, expertise, organizational skills and experience to assist
our interim principals after the unexpected loss of the Lincs founding Principal. I am elated
to write her a stellar recommendation.
Please note the following as it relates to her ability and passion for student success both
academically and socially.
Administrative Skills:
Daima has the administrative skills to facilitate a smooth function of the schools daily
activities from morning arrival, lunch, recess and dismissal. She is masterful in team
building, conflict resolution, curriculum development, climate and culture foundation and
supports, assessment and analytical processes and consistent evaluation and
implementation strategies for success.
Daily Routines:
As Principal Designee as well as the Founding Guidance Counselor of a new school, Daima
assumed many roles, often simultaneously. She must oversee various components of the
school setting. Daima meets with parents, students, staff, administration and community
stakeholders. She holds staff and leadership meetings and provides school design plans as
well as proofing suggestions for implementation and improvement. Daima is able to do all
of this while flawlessly meeting her obligations as the counselor.
Relationships:
Daima has been able to create relationships with students, staff, administration and
community stakeholders with grace and ease. Because she has been in the fields of social
work and counseling for over twenty-two years, she understands that creating successful
relationships is paramount to the success of any organization where human resource is key.
It is without hesitation or reservation that I enthusiastically recommend Daima for the
leadership position of Assistant Principal or Principal. Daima would be a great leader, an
asset and support for any institute of learning or academia.
Sincerely,
