    This prayer calls on God the Father, Creator; God the Son, both divine and human; and God the Holy Spirit, giver of wisdom and love, to help humanity care for our common home, the Earth. It asks that with God's help, people live in right relationship with God, ourselves, each other, and creation. It also asks God to stir people, from individuals to leaders, to action to help those in poverty impacted by environmental problems and to care for future generations. The prayer is based on Pope Francis' encyclical Laudato Si' and asks God to help humanity hear the cries of the poor and the Earth.
