As we discussed before, Phonetics is a science which
discusses about how sounds are pronounced and
produced in various context.
Where, Phonetics has 3 branches, they are :
Acoustic, Auditory, and Articulatory. The Phonetics also
discusses about Place Articulation, Manner of
Articulation and International Phonetic Alphabet ( even
IPA was not described specificly ).
There is different between Phonetics and Phonology,
where Phonetics explains about sounds without
restrict to a particular language, meanwhile Phonology
explains about sounds of a particular language.

1. PHONEMIC
Phonemic
is
a
science
which
explains
about
synchronous sounds
system
of a
particular language.

Phonemic
discusses
about phoneme.
Where, Phoneme is a
abstract or description
of
one
or
several
speech sounds. It can
be vowel sounds or
consonant sounds.

Kinds of phoneme :
Segmental : consist of vowel and consonant
Suprasegmental : it doesnt have number of
syntagmatic. It is not too discussed. It is also
called phoneme prosody

For example : Sound /l/ as in leap

and
peel
are
pronounced
differently in English dialect.
If we discuss about both of the
sound, we get summary, the both of
the sounds actually are same and
they have same function. The
reasons is that the language
organize these sounds so that they
have same function as in meaning,
even though there is different in
pronunciation.
