Making noise :
Students make noise in different ways that they want to draw attention the teacher and his
colleagues by doing tap in their pencil, sing a song and crack their knuckles. The noise drives the
teacher and students to feel nervous and can't ability focus to a lesson. While I was observing my
MST within the grade one, I saw some students making noise for her and other students. So, she
put three punishments for these misbehaviors. The first one is put black points and the second
one gave them extra works and the last one called their parents. Teacher Fatima used points
strategy; thats made a chart and put points on it. This chart includes the good behavior and the
bad behavior. Green points for the good behavior and the other one with the black points. The
students who make noise get a black point even if more than one in a day. This strategy was good
because the teacher doesn't ignore the students. Also, she gave them extra works to do it. It like a
punishment and at the same to be quite.
Making noise :
At the end of the week, she collects the points if she sees the students still making noise, she calls
for his parents. Ahmed is one of the students who all the times played in his pencil, he drew on
his table and talked with his friends. So, teacher Fatima gave his a black point for his
misbehavior, but he still makes noise. Teacher Fatima did with his all these strategies period of
time. That she thinks maybe he will leave this bad behavior. In the end, I saw he leave the noise
and be a good student. She told them these instructions before she did it but they didnt
understand well because they are in grade one and they didnt about school more. In my opinion,
I saw these strategies that my MST did it were good because after a few weeks I saw them be tied
to these strategies. Also, the students make less noisy. When I am a teacher in future, I teach them
variety techniques just to improve the classroom managements. There are many websites
supports to use different strategist in the class. I put two websites below the reference.
Interrupting :
Interrupting is students are cutting the lesson when they are talking with his friends,
ask teacher about somethings not related to the lesson and they didnt wait their turn
when they answered. As I observed with my MST, she did for them different
strategies. The strategies are losing the marks, dont give them a candy and stand
students behind the door then take photo to send it their mother. One day, I noticed
students talking while the teacher explains the lesson. She said for them to stop
talking but they still talking and ignore the teachers. So, My MST told students to
stand behind the door and take photo for him. They feel scared from that because
their mothers will see the photo. After that, they didnt make any voice. This is
strategy I saw it the first time I like it when the students didnt talking but I think if
my MST talk with them without their mothers it will be fine because they are in grade
one.
Interrupting :
The most strategy I prefer when the MY MST didnt give the candy at the end of
class. Mohammed is the clever student who knows the answers but he didnt wait his
turn. So, My MST told him to wait his turn but he didnt listen to her. My MST didnt
give his candy to teach him to wait even he knows the answer. The students like
candy so it actually can control the class because they still children. In my opinion,
these are good strategies and easy to management the classroom. If I am the teacher I
change it my role to be a student and one of the student be the teacher, I showing how
interrupting works. If your students are laughing, then you know youre doing it
right. After that, they will be aware that is misbehavior.

Managing transitions:
Managing transitions is leaving the classroom to another classroom, to
break, library and bathroom. Teacher Fatima put strategies to management
the classroom and the teach students how to be organized. Especially they
are in grade one and they didnt know about classroom management more.
While I was observing my MST within the classroom, I saw students one by
one come out to the bathroom. That mean he is waiting for his friend to
came then he out but he asked the teacher before go out. Why did he ask? A
lot of students who prefer to go out and play because we already know they
didnt want to learn. So, I wonder and ask my MST about this strategy. She
answered, at the being she teaches them when they want to went the
bathroom, you must to wait his friend to came from the bathroom. This
strategy was good for recurring situations and also her classroom will be
organized. I used this strategy when teaching practice.
Managing transitions:
However, one time my MST wants to take her students to the games room
for playing and watching TV away from study. At classroom when the
students do it the tasks, she said from them who did it the task correctly and
be polite, he will be the first students in line beaches everyone wants to be
the first one. So, My MST makes a line when she wants to take students out
the classroom. From this strategy, the students feel the challenge to stand the
first one. Also, at the same time encourage students to do it a task. It is a
remarkable strategy to teach students how to be organized. Whatever, to
make a challenge between the students and the same time they will do what
they have.
