A) Theme:
Eliminating our self from all evil
B) Reading: (Psalms 64: 2-3)
O god, hear my anguished voice; from a dreadful foe protect my life. Hide me
from the malicious crowd, the mob of evildoers.
C) Reflection:
We begin to thank God for listening to us through our prayers. He takes our word
and helps us or heals us. We ask God to separate us from evil and hide us from the
malicious crowd. God protects our lives and looks out for us in every way
possible. We are made to be in the image and likeness of God, and through our
prayers and actions we can achieve that. We ask God to listen to us, to answer us,
and to hear our voice every time we prayer and we know He does when, in return,
we get blessed and good things happen to us thanks to our father, God.
D) Prayer:
O God, hear me out;
Listen to my dreadful cries when I am sad;
Listen to my aching body when I am sick;
Listen to my warming heart when I am happy;
Listen to my hurtful pain when I need hope;
Listen to my frightening darkness when I need light;
Listen to my sorrowful sadness when I need joy;
Show me light without darkness;
Protect my word from failure;
Conceal me from the hateful crowd;
Let the mob of evildoers pass by me without hurtfulness;
Safeguard my life from all evil;
Help me God, to be in the image and likeness of you.
