Feedback and recommendations:

Miss Barbato has used a variety of assessments in math, reading, and
social studies. She has created some of these assessments as well as
used what the school had available. She has used running records
and after seeing the results will move students up a level and move
from decoding 1 syllable words to multi-syllabic words. Miss
Barbato is eager to use these assessments to have her students grow
in reading.
In addition, Miss Barbato has used school mandated pretests in math
to make adjustments in grouping. However, she also makes
decisions based on daily observations and formative assessments.
Even before summative assessments are given, she is continually
monitoring student progress and reteaching when necessary. Her
organizational skills keep her up to date even when students are
absent.
