P.L. : I always ensure the client is in a safe environment when I am in the room and that they are safe. For example, whenever I enter a
patients room I scan the room for any potentially unsafe objects and I also ask the patient if they are okay and if they need anything.

P.L. : Whenever I am unsure I make sure to ask a person on the health care team or my clinical teacher whenever I am uncertain or do not
understand a certain thing. For example, when distributing the diapers at the beginning of the shift and I don't know which size a certain
patient needs in their bedroom I ensure that I find someone who is familiar with that patient so I give them the correct size of diaper.

P.L. : I am able to identify unsafe situations within the clinical setting and seek the proper assistance. For example, during dinner two
residents were fighting at the dinner table I was able to stop the situation before it became unsafe for the other residents and once the
situation was resolved I reported the incident to the RN to be safe.
