A joint partnership with National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC), IL&FS Skills was launched in 2007,
at the behest of industry that was looking for trained and work ready manpower. Our agship skills initiative Skills PRograms for INclusive Growth (SPRING) - is designed to offer benchmarked trainings to youth. Approx
15,50,000 people have been already skilled under SPRING. Delivered through a network of 44 multiskills
hubs, known as IL&FS Institute of Skills (IIS) and 175+ single trade spokes, IL&FS Skills Schools (ISS)
Institutes. The intervention is strengthened by use of multimedia vocational training content, available for 74
trades from 15 key industry sectors in English, Hindi and 8 other regional languages.
