Course Description:
Welcome to Level 1! In this class, you will spend most of your time listening
and speaking English and some time reading and writing. You will learn
English grammar basics, vocabulary, pronunciation, computer, and life skills.
Course Objective:
By the end of this course you will have learned enough vocabulary and
grammar skills to be able to communicate with basic English phrases through
speaking and writing. You will be able to recognize and respond to simple
questions, give personal information, and ask simple questions of your own.

Student Behavior:
Attend class every day. Please inform the teacher if you are going be
absent, late or have to leave early. Remember! The allowed absences
for this class are 33 hours. If you miss more than 33 hours, you will
be automatically dropped from this class and lose your priority
registration.
Always be considerate to others people while in class.
Do your homework.
Come to school on time.
Always keep our classroom clean.
Turn your cell phones to vibrate while in class. VERY IMPORTANT!

Parking Permits:
All students are required to buy a parking permit to park in students parking
lot during the fall semester. You will have only one week to purchase a student
parking permit before the campus police begin ticketing cars without them.
You can buy a permit in Building 4. They cost $40.00.
