1. Where was Abraham Lincoln born?

2. Name all the jobs he had as an adult.
He was the 16th President of the United States, serving from March 1861
until his assassination in April 1865. Lincoln led the United States through its Civil
War, its bloodiest war and an event often considered its greatest moral,
constitutional, and political crisis. In doing so, he preserved the Union, abolished
slavery, strengthened the federal government, and modernized the economy.
3. Did Abraham Lincoln go to school?
Abraham briefly went to school and study.
4. What did Abraham Lincoln like to do the most?
He played in key role in passage of the Thirteenth Amendment, which ended
slavery in America.
5. When was he elected president of the United States? How was he elected?
On November 6, 1860, Lincoln was elected the 16th president of the United
States, beating Democrat Stephen A. Douglas, John C. Breckinridge of the
Southern Democrats, and John Bell of the new Constitutional Union Party. He
was the first president from the Republican Party. His victory was supported
from people from North and West of the country.

7. What did the Emancipation Proclamation do? Why is it so important?


As early as 1849, Abraham Lincoln believed that slaves should be emancipated,
advocating a program in which they would be freed gradually. Early in his
presidency, still convinced that gradual emancipation was the best course, he
tried to win over legislators. Its important because it supported Lincoln when
working in that liberty for slaves.

Because he made a change in people perspective, and all his effort has a value,
as he worked as a great president and he wanted to make people have a better
life.

He was assassinated.
10. What is the Lincoln Memorial? Why was it made?
The Lincoln Memorial is an American national monument built to honor the 16th
President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. It is located on the western end
of the National Mall in Washington, D.C., across from the Washington Monument.
It represents honor for his dead, and the memories people still have of his
actions.
11. What is Lincoln's Gettysburg address? What was the Battle of Gettysburg about?
The Gettysburg Address is a speech by U.S. President Abraham Lincoln, one of
the most famous in USAs history. The Battle of Gettysburg, fought from July 1 to
July 3, 1863, is considered the most important civil wars for Americans, and also
one of the shortest. After a great victory over Union forces at Chancellorsville,
General Robert E. Lee moved his army of Northern Virginia into Pennsylvania in
June 1863, when the war ended up.

Lincoln was a great human, who helped humanity in USA, in wars, organization,
management of space in the country and many others collaborations, but I think
he had no reason to be assassinated.

read? What are you expecting to learn?
I expect the book shows how did Lincoln feel during his life and how did he
managed the country from his point of view, and from this Ill learn history of
USA, and which people did changes to make this a better country.
