When you appeared before the Committee earlier this afternoon, I asked you to inform me by
6.00pm today whether the Director General of Border Force had been told what his budget is for
2016-17.
This request arose directly from Sir Charles Montgomery's evidence to the Committee on 1
December 2015 when he said "I would expect to know [the budget] before the start of the business
year, which is when I would need the allocation to set out a business plan for the next four business
years".
Given that you have not provided this information by the deadline set, you are requested to appear
before the Committee again on Tuesday 19 April at 2.15 pm.
