Abraham Lincoln Born in Hodgenville, Kentucky, Lincoln grew up on the western
frontier in Kentucky and Indiana.

He did not attend any trade school, college, or university, and was self-taught, in his

Lincoln liked animals a lot, Lincoln was a very athletic man, and Abraham Lincoln
loved music that made him happy.

Abraham Lincolns Election in 1860, there are many who perpetuate the rumor that
Lincoln was a backwoods farmer when in actuality he was a well-educated lawyer. He
received the nomination from the Republican Convention in 1860 and beat out
contenders such as William H. Seward.

7. What did the Emancipation Proclamation do? Why is it so important?


The Emancipation Proclamation was a presidential proclamation and executive order
issued by President Abraham Lincoln on January 1, 1863. In a single stroke, it
changed the federal legal status of more than 3 million enslaved persons in the
designated areas of the South from slave to free, this was important because many
people was free, and every human was respect.
8. Why do you think Abraham Lincoln is called one of our greatest presidents?
I think is because he gave equality t5o the humans, and now any human is treat as
slave or discriminate.
9. How did Abraham Lincoln die?
Abraham Lincoln was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth on Good Friday, April 14,
1865, while attending the play Our American Cousin at Ford's Theatre as the
American Civil War was drawing to a close. The assassination occurred five days
after the commander of the Confederate Army of Northern Virginia, General Robert
E. Lee, surrendered to Lieutenant General Ulysses S. Grant and the Union Army of
the Potomac.
10. What is the Lincoln Memorial? Why was it made?
The Lincoln Memorial is an American national monument built to honor the 16th
President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. It is located on the western end of
the National Mall in Washington, D.C, across from the Washington Monument.
People decided to honor all the good actions he made.
11. What is Lincoln's Gettysburg address? What was the Battle of Gettysburg about?
In November 1863, President Abraham Lincoln was invited to deliver remarks, which
later became known as the Gettysburg Address, at the official dedication ceremony
for the National Cemetery of Gettysburg in Pennsylvania, on the site of one of the
bloodiest and most decisive battles of the Civil War. Though he was not the featured

orator that day, Lincolns 273-word address would be remembered as one of the
most important speeches in American history.

Abraham Lincoln was the 16 president of the United States, and he made some of
the importants change`s in history, he was murder and he was honor by his actions.

He really was a wrestler. Lincoln was documented as taking part in wrestling bouts.
We dont think he wore a mask or had a manager.
He practiced law without a degree. Lincoln had about 18 months of formal schooling.

Lincoln was the first president to use the telegraph.
Lincoln was the first president to be assassinated.

read? What are you expecting to learn?
My expectation for this book is to discover the live of Abraham Lincoln in a literary
way, and read knowledge myself with information that is not from a web page.
