Update on internship with
colleagues
We met twiceonce to discuss a
student issue and another to discuss
new focus for me. I will pilot Study
Island for my AIS classes. Coleen
also asked me to survey the staff
about how we do midterms and
finals. I have created that survey and
have started a trial of Study Island.
All my kids have successfully
logged in.
Touch base with Kristen about RtI
and the future of it at OMS/OHS.
She wants to change the thinking of
HS staff and have a true RtI process
in place. She is struggling with
support from teachers on this.
As a Team, we finalized our student
incentive which will be the movies.
We also discussed some new
students and finals. Will Summer
school be a reality?
Common Core Test review
changes and plan for Opt-outers.

I was asked to network with students

in the education field as a SUNY
Oneonta Alumni. It was great to be
there as an instructional leader
giving seniors advice on teaching,
jobs and networking. Many had
questions about pursuing their
MSED and CAGS.
Developed a 4 question survey for
OMS staff to determine staff
feelings on in class vs. out of class
midterm and final exams. Worked
on navigating Study Island as a
teacher. Just trying to familiarize
myself with the program.
