PORTRAITS

You will use each other as subjects. For this project you will create a series of portraits. It is
up to you if they are ALL in color OR ALL in black and white. You should have 5 pictures to
turn in by the end. Focus on techniques as well as lighting patterns.

Guidelines:

Demonstrate each the following:

1. Rembrandt Lighting
2. Broad Lighting
3. Candid photo
4. Focus on one area
5. You choose one of the following:
Hatchet (split) lighting
Short Lighting
Eye contact
Looking off camera
Each photo should be color corrected / enhanced in Photoshop.
Each photo should have your watermark.
Each photo should be of good quality (not blurry) and utilize lighting in a way that is
effective.
Each photo should be labelled with the technique used that is listed above.

Some ideas
YOU SHOULD NOT BE USING AUTOMATIC SETTINGS ON THE CAMERA FOR
THIS ASSIGNMENT!!!
