Outrageous Families
1) The Kimes
Sante Kimes was a foster child who turned to prostitution when she lived on her
own after high school. She then married Kenneth Kimes Sr. who was an extremely
wealthy man and had a son with him named Kenneth Kimes Jr. Sante Kimes committed
many crimes including forgery and slavery while her rich husband paid for lawyers to
defend her. She was caught forging a loan application for a house by David Kazdin.
When she sound out that David knew about her forgery, she ordered her son to shoot him
in the back of the head. They eventually left him in the dumpster by a nearby airport. The
Mother son team also killed Irene Silverman to pose as the landlady and appropriate
ownership of her 7.7 million dollar mansion.

2) Ryan Champion
Man in Louisville, Kentucky, schemed to murder his family. He hired a hit man to kill his
sister and his parents. After they were found dead, he posted on Facebook that he had
survived and was recuperating. He later posted that he was in need of money and looking
for odd jobs in order to pay bills and gas.
Prosecutors say that Ryan Champion hired Vito Riservato to kill his family. Later
Riservato was found dead. The prosecution believes Champion killed him because he
could not pay the hit man.

3) Albert Walker
Canadian Financial consultant, who embezzled millions of dollars from his church, ran to
Europe with his daughter. He took the identity of one of his business associates and kept
in contact with him. He and his daughter had two children whos birth certificate said the
fathers name as Ronald Platt.
When Walker felt that his cover was going to be blown, he brought Ronald out on his
yacht and hit him over the head with an anchor. The body was found washed ashore but

was unidentified until they looked into records from the rolex watch that was on the body.
From there, they found Walkers mobile phone number and he voluntarily went to the
police to help. Thats where he told police he believed Ronald had gone to France.

4) Harry Street
Harry Street, originally known as Barry Williams, killed his neighbors in 1978. He was
said to have schizophrenia and went to a psychiatric ward until he was released in 1994
when the doctors did not believe him to be a threat to the public.
His neighbors moved in and that is where the crazy part begins. He started to copy
everything that they did. He would buy the same lawn toys, build the same deck at the
same time, and even build the same shed. He started to complain that his neighbors were
being too loud to the police. He called so many times that eventually the police stopped
coming. The police didnt realize who he was because of the name change.
He even started drilling holes in the walls and banging pipes at 3 AM because he said
they were keeping him up all night. Finally, he pulled a gun on them when they had a
friend over one night. So they decided to move away to a different part of town. When
they moved, he found them and told them they cant run from him.
One police officer noticed the name change in the records and traced it back to who it
really was. They arrested him after they found a guns and homemade bullets in his house.
He was arrested 2 days before the 35th anniversary of the first killings.

5) Rey Reyes
Rey Reyes killed his 21 year old step-son after he thought that he heard him ask his
mother to have sex. He picked up a pistol and shot Colin Champlin. The Mother says that
she was planning on leaving Rey because he was obsessed with sex. He had bureaus
filled with sex toys that they had opened after the mother shut down her medical
marijuana dispensary. Rey said that Colin was reaching for his gun, but investigators said
the positioning of the body said otherwise.

6) Joe and Mattie Harvey

Joe and Mattie, an elderly couple that lived in Tennessee, went missing in 1991. Days
later, their house was discovered to be set on fire. Their niece, Cheryl Holland, vanished a
few days later. Her common law husband, Eddie, confessed to the murder of the two
saying that Cheryl wanted to rob them. They went to the house and Eddie shot and killed
them. She then stole $150,000, set the house on fire, and dumped the bodies in the river.
Cheryl was on the run and was caught after her case was aired on tv on February 26,
1992.

7) Kent and Jill Easter
Kent and Jill Easter were parents who were aggravated that they were being criticized for
picking up their son late. Kelli Peters, who ran after school activities, noticed that Kent
and Jills son was crying and Kelli mentioned that she thought that the parents were slow
to get there. The Easters took Peters to court to try and get her out of the district until it
erupted. The Easters planted drugs in Peters car and tried to frame her for drug use to be
kicked out of school. They found no evidence of Peters DNA but found Easters DNA in
the bag of drugs.

8) Stephanie Platt
West Virginia Woman was arrested for attacking her sister with a grill spatula and biting
her finger. The Emergency workers found both sisters covered in blood splatter. The
victim was treated with five stitches to the head while Stephanie Platt was charged with
felony malicious wounding.

9) Hawes family
Elizabeth Hawes had two brothers, Edwin and Andrew Hawes. Her older brother, Edwin,
was not sophisticated while Andrew suffered from bipolar disorder. Elizabeth saw herself
as a mother figure after she tried to bring the family back together after their fathers
death.
However, Elizabeth and Andrew believed that Edwin had embezzled over $1 million
from the family landscape business. The Elizabeth and Andrew were charged with killing
Edwin after he was found in a fire pit.

10) Franklin Family
Tammy Franklin, 47, and Steven Franklin, 23, were accused of conspiring of murdering
their father, Donald Franklin. Donald was abusive to the family, including their 19 year
old daughter. All parts of the family went to get restraining orders against each other.
Both Tammy and Steven were given $1 million dollar bond.

11) Weaver family
Three Generations of killers, Grandfather, Father, and Son. Son Francis Weaver is
charged in the killing of Edward Spangler in a drug deal gone bad. His father Ward
Weaver III is serving a life sentence after he was convicted of aggravated murder in 2004,
two years after the bodies of Ashley Pond and Miranda Gaddis were found in his
backyard. His Grandfather Ward Weaver Jr is currently on death row, he was convicted of
killing a man whose car had broken down and of kidnapping, raping and murdering the
man's girlfriend, 23-year-old Barbara Levoy. Her body was found buried beneath a deck
at his home in Oroville, Calif.
12) Bogle Family
Rooster Bogle came up to the rich Willamette Valley here from Texas as a migrant
worker in 1961, already having served hard time in prison and with a habit of beating
his wife and teaching his children to steal.
Rooster, as Dale Vincent Bogle was known, taught them well. By the time the boys
were 10 years old they were breaking into liquor stores for their dad or stealing
tractor-trailer trucks, hundreds of them. The girls turned to petty crimes to support
their drug addictions. In time, everybody went to jail, or to state prison, as did many
of Rooster's brothers and their families. By official count, 28 in the Bogle clan have
been arrested and convicted, including several of Rooster's grandchildren. Rooster
Bogle himself died in 1998, of natural causes.

13) Mother & Child Duo: Kyah Green & Luis Flores, Jr.
This Florida-based mother and son tag team were accused of stealing the identity of
celebrities such as Kim Kardashian,Kris Jenner, Ashton Kutcher, Paris Hilton,
Michelle Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, Beyonce Knowles and more and making
fraudulent wire transfers from their bank accounts totaling more than $71,000.
Flores was sentenced to three years in prison, while his mother got probation and a
hefty restitution fine.
14) Mother & Child Duo: Karen & Tracy Vasseur

The duo was sentenced to up to 20 years in prison for stealing more than $1 million
from 374 unsuspecting victims in more than 40 countries. Prosecutors said the pair
helped funnel money to Nigeria after luring women on online dating sites into
becoming romantically involved with men they thought were U.S. soldiers in
Afghanistan.
15) Kallingers
Joseph Kallinger murdered three people and tortured four families. He committed
these crimes with his 13-year-old son Michael. In July 1974, father and son went on a
six-week crime spree spanning Philadelphia, Baltimore, and New Jersey. They
robbed, assaulted, and sexually abused four families. They also murdered three
people, gaining entrance to each house by pretending to be salesmen. On January 8,
1975, they committed another robbery/assault in Leonia, New Jersey, killing 21-yearold nurse Maria Fasching, who entered the house to check on a bed-ridden family
member.
16) Mary Kay Letourneau
Mary Kay Letoumeau was a middle school teacher who slept with one of her student,
Vili Fualaau, when the student was 12 years old. She was jailed for six months and
suspended for 3 months, with no contact allowed with Fualaau. After she was
released she was found with him again and jailed for 7 years.
After her years in jail she was released and married Faulaau when he was eighteen.
The two now live together with their 2 daughters.
17) The Catts
The Catts are a family in Houston who robbed a bank for nearly $70,000. The Family
consisted of the Father, Scott Catt, and his son and daughter, Abby and Hayden Catt.
Their Mother had died of breast cancer years earlier.
Scott recalls when he was younger, his dad always talking about men in masks
getting away with robbing banks and getting away with it because the tellers are
trained to comply with the robbers.
After two robberies with the family, detectives, were on the case and found the family
at the third bank.

18) Medina Family
William Medina, was shot and killed, by a private citizen, after robbing a corner
store. The citizen told the two robbers to wait for the police to come. They responded
by pulling out their guns to which he responded by pulling out his legal gun and
shooting them.
Now the Medina family is suing the citizen for killing their son.

19) Al Khalil Family
A crime family left Saudi Arabia in 1990 to move to Canada. After some time, the
family had setup a new crime life and ended up getting their son killed for a drug
debt. Another son was killed in a nightclub after a gunfight between two gang rivals.
The other sons in the family are facing drug trafficking and murder charges while
another son in a fugitive on the run. The parents have posted bail of $170,000 for
their son and lost it all

20) Tutterow Family
A father went on a spree and broke in and stole from 3 different businesses. He
brought his daughter along with him and she was charged with three felony counts of
breaking and entering.
Her mother divorced her father and was in court supporting her daughter. Being that
it was with her father and that she had never been in trouble before, she got 30
months of supervised probation
