Hair Conditioning Mask

CD-0016(AP)

This formulation provides intensive conditioning care and can help protect damaged hair. It is specially designed to make hair shiny and healthy-looking from
root to tip. Carbopol* Aqua CC Polymer helps build thickening structure to enhance the emulsion stability. The excellent lubrication properties are provided
by Schercemol* 318 Ester.

PART A: Sprinkle PEG-2M into deionized water with stirring and heat into 80C.
Add Behentrimonium Chloride into deionized water, mix until uniform.
Add Carbopol* Aqua CC Polymer with mixing until water phase is homogenous.
PART B: Add Cetearyl Alcohol and Isopropyl Isostearate, heat to 80C.
Add PART B to PART A with vigorous mixing and maintain for at least 5 minutes or until uniform.
Cool batch to 60C with moderate agitation.
Add PART C ingredients (7, 8, 9) one at a time in order to batch using vigorous agitation for at least 5
minutes or until uniform. Continue cooling batch.
When batch temperature reaches 50C, add citric acid to adjust pH to 4.5-5.0. Continue cooling
batch.
When batch temperature reaches 45C, add preservative and fragrance and mix until uniform.
