This website has many different categories to choose from but for this project I used the
government portion of it. It has different informational diagrams explaining different things
that go into the government actions. Also there are games that student can play

This website has 4 different main sections that you can click on based on the age of the
student. There is a section about congress, how laws are made, art/history, and around the
capitol. My favorite part of this website is how each section has fun facts, glossary, and a for
teachers place running along the side of the web page.

This website has so much information on one website. This website has information on
federalism, rights, and equality and each of those are packed full with lots of facts. It also has
different games to play in order to test your knowledge or improve your knowledge of the
constitution. My favorite part about this website though are how it has many episodes of Peter
Sagal that give you more understanding.

This is a website that houses an educational rap song about the three branches of the
government. It also has a review with questions, interactive lyrics, fill in the blanks, and a quiz
to go along with it.

be a great interactive center for students or learning extension after the students complete their

worksheets where students can write down information they learn as well as printables with

information about government that students can keep as a reference. This is great as graphic
organizers for ELL students to have for our lesson.

This website is awesome because it is an interactive place for students to understand the
government and why we have it. It goes perfect with our lesson and students can click on an
area on the city place and learn about the effect the government has on that area.

with events that led up to the Constitution, the powers it gives, and amendments that have been

This website is narrated by Ben Franklin and connects students with history. This website
provides a summary of the Constitution as well as other historical documents. There are links
and sums of information for students about various parts of our government and its history,
going beyond just the Constitution.

Constitution For iPhone and iPod touch
This app has the constitution and goes through the preamble, articles, signatures,
amendments, and proposed amendments. . It also has information about the different
people who signed it and has information and facts about it. Not only that but it has a
picture of the signing and it gives you lots of information on it and explains the picture.
Congress
This app has information about the different people in our congress. You can
search the different people in congress by name and see what state they are from, contact

information, and also biographies about them. I think that this would be a good way for
the students to get to know the people in our senate and the students can find out more
information about the people who are in our government.
United States History
This application contains so many facts about the US Government and important
information about our nations history. From the Presidents to the States, this would be a
great resource to have on class ipads to use as a reference.
The Branches Who is in Charge of the U.S. Government by Inventacy
This application provides a very simple and basic knowledge about the three
branches in our government. It also includes the member representatives, major historical
laws, Presidential Documents, and Supreme Court decisions as well.
Chatterpix
This app lets you use bring a character to life by using a picture of a person and
having their lips move. With this app, we can use a picture of the president to explain the
purpose of government in a more fun and engaging way. The students will be learning
about the government from an actual president and it can make learning more fun!
Constitution by KIDS DISCOVER
Students can explore this app to learn about the Constitution, its powers, view
cartoons, interactive models, and so much more. The app allows students to interact with
the Constitution and dig into the authors and what they experienced writing the
Constitution.
Ansel &Clair American Bowl
This app is full of quizzes about various American History topics, including Our
Rules Rock and Important Events. This app is colorful and very student friendly, allowing
them to learn about events surrounding the Constitution, as well as the powers it gives the
government we have today.
