Beautiful Soldiers' and Sailors' Memorial situated in Zorn Park was erected
in 1920. The gen2ral scheme was s ubmit ted by I. E. Ewing. The architectural
plans wer e 1nade by E. H Mea d. The mason work was done by James Pinnock.
The m emorial was financed b y the city government from vVar Savings
The Red Cross provided the bronze in emorial. Clyde Bradfield, Superintendent of
the Water Works Depar tment, designed the fountain. It is in the center of Zorn
Park, a delightful public park wi th many b en ch es. The fountain has a thr:ee inch
flow of pure Artesian wa ter.

such as no other fish can give. The wate rs in the lakes and trout streams are as
clear as a crystal.
The automobile roads make the cele brated rainbow trout and speckled trout
strea ms of the Minn haha, Sturgeon, Black, Maple, Jordan, and Pigeon rivers easily accessible to fi sh erm.en from. Harbor Springs. Infonnation as to the location
of the trout streams can b e obtained from most any business man or m erchant in
