I was excited to discover your opening for the internship position here in Atlanta, GA, and I would be very interested in
interviewing for the position. Working to connect organizations, individuals and families with efficient and supportive benefits
has been my goal during my search for a summer internship. With my degree in Human Development and Family Science, I
hope to bring my education in diversity, social justice, and the needs of the modern family to the benefits industry. My family
friend Clint Demetriou recommended The Benefit Company to me. He speaks very highly of you and your company. It would
be an honor to contribute to your efforts to provide clients with operationally effective benefit packages with exceptional
customer service.
As an intern at Tiffany Alley Veritext I learned how to provide excellent custom care in a fast paced business environment. My
work in the production department taught me precise work and how to adapt quickly in a changing environment. During my
work in the client care department at Tiffany Alley Veritext, I observed and performed ethical work, outstanding client care,
and client follow up to ensure maximal satisfaction. I hope to bring these fundamental business skills to The Benefit Company
Furthermore, I believe that my education in Family and Consumer Science concerning how individuals and families are
influenced by their social context could be of great help in determining what benefits clients truly care about in the changing
demographics of todays society. I have been educated in the fields of disability, social work, diversity, and economic issues
throughout the lifespan.
As I look for an internship to further my education and to practice my skills, I also hope to add worth to The Benefit
Company. My values align with those of the company to get to the heart of the matter and speak to the heart of the person. I
believe benefits are a valuable safety net for families and a strategic solution for employers. The access to benefits meets a big
social need of individuals and families. My interest in learning the values of clients will aid in my ability to provide valued and
relevant benefits as well as outstanding customer care.
