1. All About Adolescent Literacy- www.adlit.

org/article/21409
This website is all about teaching adolescents literacy. This particular
article explains the difficulty behind teaching critical thinking skills. The
article explains the importance of the critical thinking skills and how the
United States is failing to teach this skill to the students. It even goes as far
as asking whether the skill can actually be taught, and then explains
problems with certain ways of teaching critical thinking. The problem I found
with this website is that it never gives advice. It never mentions any way to
encourage critical thinking in students.

2. Partnership for 21st Century Skillswww.p21.org/component/content/article/260-critical-thinking-and-problemsolving

This website talks about teaching problem solving and critical thinking to
children in a school environment. It has tabs to click on to find good
information from theorists on the subjects and tabs on how to teach it in your
classroom. It also has good ways to use new technology and web 2.0 tools to
teach both subjects. This is a great tool for a teacher. It goes into detail on
where they are getting their information, and it gives you great ideas for
ways to use their information. Not to mention their inclusion of web 2.0 and
technology teaching ideas. Schools eat those up!

3. Ed Tech Review- http://edtechreview.in/trends-insights/insights/771-greatways-to-teach-skills-like-critical-thinking-and-problem-solving

This website reviews all types of educational subjects and ideas. This
particular page is about problem solving and critical thinking. The website
explains what each is individually, then explains the difference between the
two. It mentions Einsteins problem solving method, and the scientific method
and how they relate with problem solving and critical thinking in students'
learning processes. This article is interesting, and the information makes
sense, but I wish it would have included more ways to teach the subjects to
the children.

4. Creativity/ Problem Solving/ Critical Thinking Lesson Plans and Resourceshttp://www.eds-resources.com/edcreative.htm

This web page gives you actual lesson plans for K-8 for all different
subjects, such as English and math. The great thing is that it divides them in
to grade levels and subjects. This website includes links on lesson plans, and
information on better ways to get your points across to the different grade
levels. I love this page. It links together so much information into one site. It
is one area to go for all the information and ideas you need.

5. Te@ch Thought- http://www.teachthought.com/teaching/10-team-buildinggames-that-promote-critical-thinking/

This website contains ideas for games and activities for teachers to use
when teaching specific subjects. This particular page of the website includes
10 fun games and activities teachers can have their students play to
encourage critical thinking and problem solving. I really like this website as
well. It includes fun ways for your students to get involved in a lesson. This
would be a great way to get kids excited about finding solutions to problems
and thinking outside the normal parameters.
