Autobiography
My name is Hsin Yeh, but most people refer to me by my English
name, Nancy. I was raised in a joyful and open- minded family. My
mother always encouraged me to be aggressive learner and being
pessimistic. My father works in a foreign company of IC industry. As
result of this, he emphasizes the English ability and logical thinking.
From 2009 to 2014, I studied Life Science at Chung Hsing University
and graduated with bachelor degree in Jun. 2014. Studying biology
taught me how to observe and analysis massive data. I also
participated in extra- curricular activities at University, including
being volunteer in underprivileged area. From these activities I
learned to cherish my family and education I had received. During
my university time, I also worked part-time as a tutor teaching
biology and math. This experience helped me to enhance expression
skills and to have better time management.
My first job after leaving university was as a project assistant.
During my time in Ministry of Education, I successfully introduced an
effective method to organize files and questionnaires. I also
efficiently organized workshops and administered a variety of
surveys. From these experiences I realized how important it is to
enhance effectiveness by using software and set up a standard
operation procedure.
To advance and broaden my knowledge of International trading, I
decided to pursue a rigorous six months of intensive business
trading at the TAITRA International Trade Institute (ITI) to further
enhance my skills in areas such as Business English, Meetings and
Negotiation. Whilst at ITI, I successfully delivered financial statistics
analysis presentation and built confidence to communicate
effectively in formal occasions.
In addition to attending ITI, this year I have also set myself some
personal goals, including using more online open course source, and
learning advanced office software. I successfully achieved two of
these this year. Firstly, I have finished one Coursera course and
listened Ted when taking the MRT. Secondly, I learnt how to set up
arithmetic function in Excel. These experiences taught me how to
use spare time and improve technical skill.
I am now beginning a new period in my life and my most important
goal is to devote myself to success in work with great enthusiasm
and diligence. I am anxious to become established with a leading
company where I can meet greater challenges and assume broader

responsibilities, and I am confident that my background in Biology

and Health, together with my Business trading and working
experience will enable me to perform excellently in a team of
marketing assistant in the Health care industry.
