Critical reflection

Semester 7 teaching practice improves my skills and teaching strategies


especially with young students. I learnt to be more confident while
teaching and use useful ways to make students gain more knowledge in
school. A good example for being confident is that when I engage students
by a song at the beginning of the lesson I can sing with them easily. Also,
I understand that grade two or young students need to hear the words
several times so by drilling the information will stick in their minds more. I
realized in this semester that young students need models or examples
before any activity to let them understand what they will do exactly. In
addition, the MCT was helping me very much with planning the lessons and
finding the best activities, which they suit students levels.
