DonaldTrump
The 2016 Presidential Race is currently a hot topic discussed in the United States, and
partly because one of the GOP Candidates is billionaire, Donald Trump. Trump is making
headlines, good and bad, all across the nation due to his outspoken rhetoric, lack of experience
with politics, and his constant change of his political views. He has gained many supporters on
his race to the White House, but in turn, has gained many adversaries that go against
himincludingme.
Donald Trump is not what like every othercandidateintheracebecausehesayswhathe
has to say bluntly. While this is viewed as a great attribute to some people, others tend to take
offense tohisrhetoric.Hehasopenly madefunofpeoplewithdisabilities,hasbeendisrespectful
to numerous reporters, and has come across as a racist against two ethnicitiesMuslims and
Mexicans.Trumphasbeenquotedsaying,
When Mexico sends its people, theyrenotsendingthebest.Theyrenotsending
you, theyre sending people that have lotsof problemsandtheyrebringingthose
problems with us. Theyre bringingdrugs.Theyrebringcrime.Theyrerapists

Donald J Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown on all Muslims
enteringtheUnitedStates...(CNN)
Just like with every group of people, there arethegoodandthebad, butTrumpisgeneralizinga
whole group as bad and in a very offensive way. His words against these two ethnicities prove
that his character and ethics make him a bad Presidential Candidate. Hisproposalsforshutting
down these two ethnicities from entering theUnitedStatesistotallyabsurdandisnotpractical.
His proposal for Muslims is impractical because how is he going to identify who is a Muslim
and who is not? Is he going to mark everyMuslimwithsomesortofsymbol, justlikeHitlerdid
with every Jew during the years leading up to the Holocaust? His proposal will not workandis
too offensive and wouldleavethewrongimpressionforanyoneinourcountry.Andthenthereis
his wallproposalstatingthathewantsa wallbuilttokeepMexicansout.Thisisisanimpractical
solutiontosolvingtheimmigrationcrisisAmericaishaving.Thewallproposalwillcostmillions
of dollars that the United States and Mexico do not have. This could potentially cause a huge
economicplungeintheAmericanand/orMexicaneconomy,andcouldmostdefinitelytakeplace
if his proposal of a mass deportation turns into an action. His rhetoric for proposing theseideas
are not only incredibly offensive but his ideas could cause even more trouble for the United
States.
Trumps proposed ideas, along with his offensiverhetoric, arejustsomeevidencefor his
lack of political experience. Donald Trump has been active in politics, but only as a citizen.
Though he has funded political campaigns before, he has never had one himself. He is the only
major, and current,PresidentialCandidateintheRacetotheWhiteHousethatdoesnothaveany
political experience. His lack of experience has been a turn on for some people to join his side,

because they do notwantjustanotherWashingtonPolitician.Hislackofexperience,however,

has turned some people off due to the factthathedoesnotseemcredibletorunourcountry. His
ignorance of a Presidents job is mighty and he will not know how to make executive orders
correctly. His arrogance will not get him anywhere while he is in office and could potentially
damage our nation. Trump gives off the impression that he does not care that his off putting
rhetoric has made people turn against him and he does not care about anyone who has an
opposing opinion. These two things just go to show that Trump does not care about or support
the American peoplewhich makes him come across as a dictator like figure, who just wants
moremoneyandmorepower.
Trumps inexperience with politics may come from the fact that Trump changes his
political party like he changes his suits. Trump has switched political parties at least five times
(The Washington Times). He started as a GOP supporter, then switched to the Independent
Party, then went to the Democratic Party, back to the Republican Party, and then affiliated
himself with no party at all. This flipflopping of partiesprovidesgoodevidencethattheUnited
States does not need to elect a President who can change his political platform at any moment
during his presidency. The proposals and promises he is making are very rightwinged, for the
most part. But, with his track record of switching political views, we cannot guarantee that the
proposals and promises he is making now during his campaign will be withheldduringhistime
in office. Trump is currently running asaGOPcandidate, buthasalreadythreatenedtoleavethe
party due to the Republican Party leaders failure to comply with Donald Trumps views and
statements during press conferences and campaign speeches. Trump has also been accused of
giving Hillary Clinton money for hertofundhercampaign.AndthereissuspicionthatTrumpis

running a false campaign to help Hillary Clinton win President (Black Bag). Many of Trumps
adversaries believe these statements to be true, including GOP Candidate Ted Cruz who even
made a campaign advertisement, called
Playing Trump, which advertized these secrets of
Donald Trump. Many of Trumps patrons are Conservative Republicans who want to see a
change from the Democratic incumbency. They want reforms and improvementstothecountry,
and they see this by having a Republican in the White House again. Thisisnotgoingtohappen
with Donald Trump in the White House because of his constant change of opinions and
beliefswhich tend to be very liberal. Donald Trump has the right to change his mind on his
political views, but America needs consistency and reform. Trump gives no reason for us to
believethatheisgoingtostayconstantthroughouthiswholetermaspresident,ifheiselected.
Donald Trump claims that he wants to Make America Great Again, but does nothave
any credible evidence to show the American people that he would do so. He offends people in
his speeches, makes racist comments and outrageous proposals, has norealpoliticalexperience,
and constantly changes his political positions. Donald Trump shows the UnitedStates, dayafter
day, that he doesnothavetheAmericanpeople'sinterestsinmindortheslightestideaonhowto
MakeAmericaGreatAgain.
