These are the areas we discussed for you to work on an improve
1. Your stronger presence as a teacher- this means develop your voice
tone, expressions and volume
2. Clearly communicate as a teacher- your expectations, instructions
3. When you explain stage your instructions clearly
4. Manage the group and check all students are in the room to attend
your workshop

This was a workshop that you had planned in your mind but the stages
changed and you seemed to be less confident about what you were going to
do exactly with it. You need to be clear and this is what your preparation is

for. This 3D workshop started well with an introduction in which you gave
a friendly welcome with a clam manner. You used slides to explain the
lesson objectives but it is important

Not to read the slide- if it is necessary can you ask a student and then
repeat or elaborate in your own words

Be clearer with your explanations- you need to be very specific and clear
in your language choices- know how you are going to say- write the key
points in your lesson plan that you want to explain- what are the key
words

This was a small group so there was the opportunity to make this a helpful
conversation for learning before you start introducing and using the program.
Remember the introduction should be used to motivate and interest the st who
come to the workshop- It is important you give them a big picture about what
is possible with 3D printing- isnt this an objective for learning&
understanding?
You could talk about what other students have printed? You could show
an example on the slides?
Then ask st questions about what they want to learn- what is their
course?
Also check-in what do they already know?

Work on developing these points for your next observation.


It was obvious you know and have a broad understanding of using this
program so work on the development of the workshop introduction, phases of
the workshop and your instructions and make your explanations clearer.

Prior Knowledge (What prior knowledge are you building in?)
I will face new students, I dont know their prior knowledge but I assume that the students know some concepts
about the 3D printer if they did come to the innovation week last semester, but I will include at the beginning
what is 3 printing and its uses.
Lesson Objectives: (What will students be able to do by the end of the lesson?)
Please follow the lesson plan
The students will discover what is tinkercad.com by opening the app and explore it, they will also register
in the website by them selves.
The students will create their own design by adding shapes and text from the application.
The students will respect their peers when they come to the board and explain for them.
Evaluation / Assessment: (How will you know your students have achieved the lesson objectives?)
After the workshop, I will give the students a task to do in papers. More detail
Personal focus (relate to your PDP, state the goal and explain your actions specific to this lesson):
In this lesson I am working on my presentation skills, I will develop my presentation skills to be a real teacher, I
will focus in my body language and make sure that Im close to the girls and make sure that they are working
and paying attention, if they have any question they will write their questions on a piece of paper and then I will
answer them.
Is this your PDP or strategy?In addition, I will use my new skills that I learned independently which are how to
use the tinker cad and save it to print it in 3D printer because this is the first time I use it. What is more, I will use
constructivist strategies, I will let the students to discover the app by their own, I will guide them and make sure
that they are following the steps and create their own design.
Teaching Competencies focus (relate to specific competencies, state the competency area, explain your
focus and actions)
Professionalism: I will do the workshop that the library do every Monday so I am participating in the library
work, before and after the workshop I have discussion with my MST, about what I will do and what I did.
Planning for Learning: In my planning I expect that I will reach most learning styles, with pictures, learning by
doing and I will use the technology that the library provide 3D printer, big LED screen for the instructions and
the steps.
Implementing and Managing Learning: link the concept of 3D printer to life, and how to use this technology in
their learning, in addition, I will help the students if the struggled with any activities that I give them to do.
Monitoring, Assessment and Evaluation: ask the student to help their classmates and do peer evaluation, focus on
the positive feedback with the reason.
Critical Reflection: after class reflection and do a research about any problems that I will face.
Teaching Strategies: (these are important to define so you create an positive and supportive learning
environment during the lesson)
Teaching strategies: active learning, I will bring some students to my laptop and let them try out the steps.
Classroom management strategies: I dont know where the workshop will be but I should be aware that all the
students can see the board.
Behavioral management strategies: they are adults; they will chitchat so I will stop them and make them busy by
giving them an exercise to start working with the new steps and skills.
Feedback strategies: ask the students question related to their previous knowledge and praise who answered
correctly.
What do you need for teaching & learning?
Materials & Resources: PowerPoint presentation, worksheet, evaluation paper.
Technology integration: using the data show for the PowerPoint. Link the ipad with the TV if I used the theater
room.

I will present my self and introduce for the students what is 3D printer, how it works and its uses. It will be very shortly
described, and show them some 3D printer objects that are printed previously.

The students did not understand what Im saying I will translate it in Arabic because they need to learn and they
maybe will not come again to this workshop.
The students did not have laptop I will let them go out to work with the computers.
