Apple Pie

Recipe
Ingredients
-1 tsp nutmeg
-1 tsp cinnamon
-1 tsp salt
-1 whole unsalted 227g Butter
-2 whole eggs
-2 tsp water
-8 cups Ice Cold Water
-10 Fuji Apples
-1 Tbsp cornstarch
-2 cup Flour
-2 cup Baking Powder
Procedure
1.Sift flour, salt and baking powder all together.
2.Spread on the table, make sure there is a space in the middle for the
butter and the cold water.
3.Chop the butter into small cubes and place it in the space inside the mix
of dry ingredients along with the ice-cold water
4.Mix and kneed them all by hand
5.Evenly divide the dough into 2
*You can flatten them both into discs to be easier to used for the actual
pie.
6. Wrap them and place in the freezer for 15 minutes.
7. Chop the apples and place it with 2 cups of water in a non stick pan.
8. Let the apples soften before adding the nutmeg, cinnamon and
cornstarch.
9. Once you think its already sweet enough, take it out of the oven and
let it set for 2-3 minutes.
10. Take the 2 hardened dough form the freezer.
11. Flatten them each with a rolling pin.
12. Use one for the base and before placing the top crust, make sure to
add in the apple filling.
13.Once the top crust is added and is designed, mix the eggs with water
and use it for the egg wash.
14.Place it in the oven with a 360 degree temperature for 15-30 minutes.
Generalization

Overall, the pie turned out better than expected. The pie wasnt too sweet
but just enough.
The apples in the filling werent to soggy which is one thing we liked. The
top crust looked just as how we wanted it to.
Evaluation
We made the crust thicker than usual since we all like the crust and we
agreed that it was a good idea. The top crust looked as good as we
wanted to because of our egg wash wherein it was all mixed without any
egg white being left out.
