GOAL/OBJECTIVE (WHAT)
By the end of the lesson, students will be
able to:
- Students will learn how to add up to 5.
- Students will discover more about
which numbers add up to 5 while
working on their activity.
- Students will recognize numbers more
easily.
Objectives:
1. Play a song about adding up to 5.
2. Students will be given 1 activity
to work on separately.
3. Students will be given two
different worksheets.

Strategies:
- Students will sit individually in order of
formative seating when working on their
activity and worksheets.
- Each teacher would help a specific
group table and also focus on the special
needs students.
- Teachers would place the colors on
each table for the students that finished
would start enjoying their time coloring
in freely.

ACTIVITIES
Grabber:
We will have a slight discussion about addition up to 5 then play a
song that introduces the whole lesson. The students will be able to
participate during the song and answer the questions together.
